We had been at very few civil ceremony’s and the few we had we felt was missing that special energy and for us we wanted a ceremony of celebration of family and commitment and Will certainly gave us that. “ When we decided to get married, we knew we wanted to do it in our own personal way. It was crucial to us our celebrant would understand our relaxed personalities, but still create an atmosphere of poignancy and romance at our ceremony.
When we first met Will, he got us straight away. He listened to our stories and ideas, even though we weren’t very sure ourselves of the final look of the day.
He took on board the fact we weren’t in the flush of youth, and possibly were different to most of his clients.
He even visited us at our home, were he got quite a flavour of our sense of fun and togetherness and flexible approach to our wedding day.
The result was, despite the frustrations of Covid, a most memorable and enjoyable ceremony where we relaxed and embraced every moment. Our friends and family, remarked on how much they enjoyed Wills professionalism, poise and engaging manner and how they laughed and smiled throughout the readings and music.

He took the time to get to know us before sitting down to write our bespoke love story and ceremony which turned out to be our favourite part of the day. My fiance and I were planning a last minute elopement in Glendalough. We contacted Will about a week before the big day and he responded quickly to our questions and was very flexible with our go-with-the-flow mentality. He gave us his opinion on the area we chose and even some suggestions. We were worried it might rain that night and asked if he would be ok with doing a sunrise ceremony if it came to it and he had no issues with that. Luckily we had a beautiful day and didn't need to do a 6 AM ceremony. Will had sent over a list of optional vows we could do, as well as the exchanging of the rings. He offered to print off the vow we wrote to each other. He also performed a touching and thoughtful hand fasting. He went above what I had expected of a celebrant and he was truly a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Will to anyone who wants a calming yet engaging celebrant for their wedding who will do what he can to make your dream wedding come true.

Will Flanagan designed and conducted a heartfelt and personalized ceremony for our daughter's wedding.   We came from the USA for the wedding, so all the planning and communication was long distance.  Even with that complication the ceremony fit in with our daughter's dream wedding ceremony.  Will included our family for some of the selected readings, accommodated our guests who provided music and incorporated the Irish hand-fasting ritual in the ceremony.

I would recommend Will for any couple desiring of a personal ceremony with an honest delivery.   It was obvious that Will loves uniting couples and is committed to the tenets of lifelong commitment.
